Wir werden das Schmiedewerk von Imbach & Cie in Nebikon, Kanton Luzern, besichtigen. Nach einer Einführung in die verschiedenen eingesetzten Verfahren sehen wir uns Freiformschmieden, Ringwalzen, etc.  an der Schmiedepresse bzw. Ringwalzmaschine an.

We will visit the forging plant of Imbach & Cie in Nebikon, Canton of Lucerne. After an overview of the different processes used, we will have a look at the processes in operation.

Zusammen werden wir einen Abend lang dem Hürlimann Thermalbad & Spa Zürich einen Besuch abstatten.

The AMIV is organising a wellness and spa evening for all those who need a break right at the start, for all those who like to reminisce about their holidays and for all those who prefer hot water and massage jets to 8 o'clock lectures. Lust, die AMIV/VIS/VMP/VSETH IT kennenzulernen und weiterzubringen? Am Coding Weekend wird über zwei Tage an der IT Infrastuktur gebugfixed, weiterentwickelt und erneuert. Gemeinsam mit AMIV, VIS, VMP und VSETH SEK fahren wir nach Flumserberg und programmieren gemeinsam!

Die Anmeldungen bei diesem Event werden manuell akzeptiert, es ist daher normal zuerst auf der Warteliste zu landen. Eine Email wird verschickt, sobald die Anmeldung bestätigt ist.

Would you like to get to know AMIV/VIS/VMP/VSETH IT and improve it? During the Coding Weekend, the IT infrastructure will be bugfixed, further developed and renewed over two days. Together with AMIV, VIS, VMP and VSETH SEK we will go to Flumserberg and code together!

Was ist HoPo und was machen die eigentlich alles? Das sind doch die von den Prüfungsvorbereitungskursen, oder?
Spoiler: Zur Hochschulpolitik zählt noch viel mehr: Berufungen von Professor:innen, Notenkonferenzen, Semestersprecher:innen und noch vieles mehr...
Du willst dich z.B. dafür einsetzen, dass die ETH nachhaltiger und diverser wird? Bam! - die Hochschulpolitik ist dein Place-to-be.

Man munkelt zudem, dass es nach der Vorstellung Essen und Trinken gibt, bei dem wir uns noch weiter austauschen können.

You will get know what the university politics team is working on and how you can get involved. Spoiler: If you always wanted to know how professors get appointed, how a grading conference looks like, how you can actively work on improving your curriculum or you just want ETH to become more sustainable? Then, we might be able to tell you more!

P.S. After the introduction there will be food and drinks while we can get to know each other better.

Ein Leberschussturnier ist ein geselliges Trinkspielturnier, bei dem Teams in einem Wettkampf antreten, der sowohl Geschicklichkeit als auch Trinkfähigkeit kombiniert. Dabei kämpfen zwei Spieler pro Team darum, als Erstes ihre Getränke zu leeren, um in die nächste K.-o.-Runde vorzurücken. Am Ende gewinnt das Team, das im Finale als Erstes seinen Becher leert

A Leberschuss Tournament is a social event where 32 players form 16 teams of two, competing in a knockout-style competition with a unique twist. In each match, teams face off not just by skill, but by speed: to win, a team must finish their beers first.

Each round sees pairs going head-to-head, where the fastest team to finish their beers moves on to the next stage. The competition continues until only two teams remain for the final round, where the ultimate beer-drinking champions are crowned.
