Have you always wanted to take a look behind the scenes of one of Switzerland’s largest pumped-storage power plants and then spend a weekend in the mountains? Then join us for the LIMES Weekend! We will start with an exclusive tour of the Limmern power plant, operated by Axpo, and then travel together to Braunwald. There, you can look forward to a relaxed weekend with time for hiking, games, and spending time together. Get to know new people, enjoy the mountains, and become part of the LIMES community!

Euch erwartet ein inspirierender und gemütlicher Abend mit Belimo, an dem ihr bei einem gemeinsamen Abendessen nicht nur feines Essen geniessen, sondern auch mehr über Belimo als Unternehmen, spannende Tätigkeitsfelder und Einstiegsmöglichkeiten erfahren könnt. (Beide Menüs sind glutenfrei und vegan.)

Die Teilnahme ist kostenlos. Damit wir Lebensmittelverschwendung vermeiden können, bitten wir euch, euch bei Verhinderung spätestens eine Woche vor dem Anlass abzumelden.

Wurdest du schon mal von deinen Non-Engineering Friends aufgefordert, „Gras zu berühren“? Tja, Pech gehabt, denn wir berühren Kunststoffgriffe, um das Gefühl nachzuahmen, echte Felsen im Freien zu berühren. Komm vorbei und lerne die Kunst, einen „Sloper“ zu streicheln oder einen „Crimp“ zu edgen. Der einzige Ort, an dem (Wo)mansplaining als „Aid“ gilt und es gleichzeitig akzeptabel ist, eine Route performativ „vorzuklettern“.

Have you ever been told to "touch grass" by your non-engineering friends? Well too bad, because we are touching plastic holds to simulate the sensation of touching actual rocks in the outdoors. Come and learn about the art of caressing a "sloper" or edging a "crimp". The only place where (wo)mansplaining is considered "aid", while still being able to performatively "pre-climb" a route is acceptable behaviour.

Lust, die AMIV/VIS/VMP/VSETH IT kennenzulernen und weiterzubringen? Am Coding Weekend wird über zwei Tage an der IT Infrastuktur gebugfixed, weiterentwickelt und erneuert. Gemeinsam mit AMIV, VIS, VMP und VSETH SEK fahren wir nach Engelberg und programmieren gemeinsam! Es ist keine Erfahrung notwendig und es wird gerne einander geholfen, das ist also eine gute Gelegenheit, in kurzer Zeit viel neues zu lernen! Die Anmeldung läuft über den VIS und die Teilnehmer werden manuell ausgewählt, also unbedingt auch anmelden, wenn keine freien Plätze mehr angezeigt werden!

Would you like to get to know AMIV/VIS/VMP/VSETH IT and improve it? During the Coding Weekend, the IT infrastructure will be bugfixed, further developed and renewed over two days. Together with AMIV, VIS, VMP and VSETH SEK we will go to Engelberg and code together! No experience is necessary and someone will gladly help you to get started working on our projects, this is a good opportunity to learn a lot in a short time! The signup is handled by VIS and the participants are manually selected, so sign up even if the event shows as full!

Genug von Pythagoras, Prandtl und Riemann? Wie wäre es mit Rembrandt, Kandinsky und Picasso! Entfliehe deinem logischen und rationalen ETH-Alltag und begebe dich mit uns auf ein kleines Abenteuer durch unsere Fantasie und Kreativität. Angeregt durch unseren treuen Begleiter Alkohol wirst du ein Kunstwerk schaffen, das später Teil eines grossen Meisterwerks sein wird. Das fertige Werk wird dann am Ende des Abends für die breite Öffentlichkeit ausgestellt. Wenn du also nicht an der Entstehung des Werks teilnehmen kannst, mach dir keine Sorgen! Schauen dir die Ausstellung an und bestaune, was entstanden ist! Familie und Freunde sind ebenfalls willkommen!

Enough of Pythagoras, Prandtl and Riemann? How about Rembrandt, Kandinsky and Picasso! Escape your logical and rational everyday life at ETH and join us a on little adventure through our imagination and creativity. Encouraged by our trusty companion alcohol, you will create a piece of art, which will later be part of one big masterpiece. Join us at the exhibition and marvel on what has been created! Family and friends are welcome too!

Willst du es mal ausprobieren? Dann finde einen Teampartnerin und meldet euch an fürs VMP x AMIV Leberschussturnier am 23.04. um 18:00 Uhr im CAB F21. Ihr zahlt pro Person 6 CHF (pro Team 12CHF) und könnt den ganzen Abend lang spielen, so viel ihr wollt und sogar tolle Preise gewinnen.

Have you heard of the hottest new drinking game yet? That’s right – Leberschuss! It’s a kind of table curling that’s just made for drinking (with or without alcohol).

Fancy giving it a go? Then find a teammate and sign up for the VMP x AMIV Leberschuss tournament on 23 April at 6 pm at CAB F21. It costs 6 CHF per person (12 CHF per team) and you can play all evening, as much as you like, and even win great prizes.
